After the rained out carnival, we went home, took a nap, and hoped that the rain would go away for the parade. Sure enough, it stopped raining for a little bit so we decided to take a chance and went to the Orem parade.
The weather was actually perfect. It was not too hot and the sun was only in our face for a few minutes. The rain actually held off just long enough for the parade to get over and started sprinkling on our way back to the car.

Mathias was waving to all of the police officers on their motorcycles and saying hi.
I am pretty sure they were one of the only things that Mathias payed attention to during the parade. He also liked the jeeps and the helicopter.
Mema taught him that when the American flag goes by that you stand up and hold your hand over your heart. It was so cute to see.
Mathias was more entertained by his Hummer then anything else.
This just shows how excited he was to watch the parade. Towards the end he just laid down and drove his little Hummer around in front of him. Maybe next year he will be a little more entertained by parades and all that comes with them.
