playin in the yard

 Since I have not been feeling the best lately and have been super tired, we have spent a lot of time out in the yard instead of going places. The kids don't seem to mind though as long as they are outside. Thank goodness! Here are some pics from a few of the times we have been out this month.

Azlyn loves to take her doll stroller out and push her babies around. She also likes to climb up and sit on the chair like she is just so big. It's kinda hard to get pictures of Mathias because he is usually riding around on his bike or his scooter but I got a few of him walking around and playing games on my phone.

Mathias wanted to show us that he could right his name all by himself. I can't believe how big my little guy is getting. Azlyn will draw a few marks with the chalk and then try to eat it. You wouldn't think it would taste good but I seem to be constantly telling her to get it out of her mouth.

My mother-in-law got this cute little ride on princess bus thing for Azlyn for her birthday. She doesn't really ride it but she loves to push it or sit on it and push the buttons that make it play music.

We have this cool hammock swing hanging from the big tree in the front yard. It is so comfortable to sit in and everyone loves it. One day while Devin was on the phone and swinging with Azlyn she fell fast asleep. It was the cutest thing because she rarely falls asleep while snuggling.  We then traded and I got some snuggles. Loved it!

I swear this girl puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. Here she decided to see what a rock tastes like. Mathias was so worried about it and wanted to take it away but I wanted to see what she would do. A little dirt never hurt anybody, right?

baby # 3

Today we had our first doctor appointment. At this appointment we had an ultrasound to see exactly how far along I was since I was not sure. Turns out we are 8 weeks and 5 days along and got a due date of February 2, 2012.

Since I know many are wondering, nope this pregnancy was not planned. I have learned that my kids come whenever they are meant to.  Mathias came a few months before we had planned and we tried for two years before we finally got pregnant with Azlyn.  Just goes to show that you can't plan everything in your lives. Either way we are excited to meet this new little one.

trophy truck races

 Devin's friend (who's also his boss) invited us to go with him and his son to some races out at Miller Motor Sports park. It is something we thought Mathias would love so we went.

We came across some pretty cool trucks on the way to the stands so of course we had to get some pictures with them. Mathias loved the huge monster truck but he also loved the truck that he called his size.

 The races were pretty cool. They got some really big air which Mathias thought was pretty cool. Unfortunately that is about all that he liked and lost interest pretty quickly.

The trucks were really loud! They gave out ear plugs but Azlyn would freak out when we tried to put them in her ears. She was alright though for the most part with me covering her ears.

When Azlyn learned that Lucas had fruit snacks, she was instantly his best friend. It was so cute to watch them interact with each other.

Next to the race track they had a big Toyota off road thing going on so of course we had to check them all out. There were some pretty cool rigs out there.  All in all in was fun to get out and experience a few new things.

Mathias and Azlyn got invited to their friend Cohen's birthday party. They had a couple of little swimming pools and a little bounce house set up in their back yard. Mathias of course had a blast running around and playing with all of the kids.

 This was the first time Azlyn got to wear her cute little swim suit, so of course I had to get some pictures of her in it. She refused to get in the water and would actually scream anytime we went by it. Not sure if it was because the water was kinda cold or what, but it was kinda funny.

By the time Mathias got done swimming he was covered in bumps that he said itched. Azlyn even had a few on her as well. The only thing we could think of that would cause this is that they both were wearing brand new swimsuits that hadn't been washed yet and they both have sensitive skin so maybe there was something on them since they say to wash before wearing. They went away pretty fast once he got all dried off and changed. Kinda weird but oh well.

dentist

Mathias went to the dentist for the first time today.We went to a pediatric dentist in Orem. Mathias loved that they had tvs on the ceilings as well as some cool picture tile things that light up. He and Azlyn also loved all the big stuffed animals everywhere. I know that he should heave been in before now but we never had dental insurance. Anyways, he was a little nervous but did really well. Unfortunately he has his mammas crappy teeth and will need a lot of work done. Not really looking forward to all that.
