In two days.....

So apparently this was not a great week for Mathias. In just a few days time he got some pretty good "owies." For the first one, I was changing some batteries for one of his toys and he got a hold of the little tin that holds all of the screwdrivers and kept dumping them out and putting them back. Dev mentioned that we better take them away or they will eventually fall on his toes. After a couple times of Mathias doing this, one finally hit his toe. The flat head screwdriver sliced him right to the side of his toenail and gave him a little blood blister. The funny part is that when it happened, he just whimpered and gave me the screwdriver and went back to playing with the rest of them. He did not cry at all until we tried to pin him down to clean it off and put some Neosporin and a band aid on it. Only then did he scream and cry.

Then, the next day, he was running in the kitchen with his crocs on, which apparently have too much traction (he is always stumbling in the), and he tripped. On the way down, he hit his head on the cupboard door. This time he fussesd but only for like half a minute. He is one tough little bugger. And of course this all happened the week before we are to take family pictures!
