First big snow storm

We finally had a pretty good snow storm. Mathias was so excited when I told him we could play in it after church. As soon as we got home he changed his clothes and got all of his snow gear on and ran out the door. He reminds me so much of my brother. They both love snow. He of course played with his cars in it and then made a snow angel.

I had to get a few pictures of Azlyn out by the snow since this was her first snow ever. She was just so happy to be outside even though it was freezing.

Thanksgiving

Dev and I trade off years on which family we go to for Thanksgiving. It was my family's turn this year. We had it in Murray at my Aunt Lori's church. I love going to my side's dinner because I get to see some family that we don't get to see all that often.

Here is the food just before and as everyone dug in. Also just a quick pic of Azlyn patiently waiting to get out of her car seat.

Here are a few pictures of some of the group. For some reason I forgot to take a picture of the other table. Azlyn got to try a few new things for dinner like stuffing and mashed potatoes. She of course loved them, she pretty much loves all food. For memory's sake I want to write down everyone that was there.
Aunt Lori, her husband Lamont, and 6 of their 9 kids: Brandon, his wife Jessica and their two boys, Alex and Josh. Nicole and her husband Eric. Austin and his wife Megan. Lauren, Alicia and Trenton. They also had a friend from their ward come.
My Aunt Trista, her Husband Dave, and their 5 boys: Kyrus, Steele, Titan, Diesel, and Sylus.
My Aunt Kari, her husband Lance, and 1 0f 4 of their kids: Cory, his wife Krysta, and their 4 kids: Tayla, Cayden, Bryson and Maliya.
Our family of 4 and my mom.
So in total there were 34 people and I think 13 of them were kids under the age of 12.

Here are a few pictures after dinner. Dev was playing the piano with Azlyn. This is one of the ways he can hold her and get her to calm down so I am not the one holding her all the time. She is a MAJOR mama's girl. I went to go find the kids and see what they were up to and found them helping Uncle Lamont clean the church. So cute. We had a nice Thanksgiving and hope that everyone had one as well.

Park in November!

The weather has been so good lately that we decided we better take advantage of it while we can and walked to a park near us.

While we waited for Dev to be ready we took a few pics in the leaves in the front yard.

Here we are on our way. I just thought it was so cute that Mathias was holding Dev's hand.

While the boys were playing I tried to get a few more pics of Azlyn in some leaves. She just kept trying to eat them. Go figure. I love how she is studying them in the last pic.
With Mathias I would try to go up the canyon and take some fall pics every year but we didn't get around to it this year for some reason.

Here are a few pics of Mathias having fun at the park!

Azlyn got to swing for the first time. She absolutely loved it and was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.

Also here she is going down a slide for her first time. Actually, it was her second time since she went down a slide with Dev at Cornbellies. Again, she loved it.
It was so nice to be able to get out as a family and enjoy the beautiful day!

7 months

Another month has come and gone. Here are a few things about Miss Azlyn in the last month leading up to month 7.

First off, as usual here are her monthly pics with her age and her bunny. Her monthly birthday fell on a Sunday this month so we took a few quick pics when we got home from church.

Love her smile!

She loves toys but she loves to play with things that are not really toys even more! For example, water bottle, cell phone, remote...

She is a serious drool monkey. My mother-in-law calls her a leaky faucet because she is constantly drooling and soaked! This is gonna be one very cold winter for her if this continues.
She has 5 teeth now. The ones that are colored in.

She is super flexible. If you can't tell in this picture she is folded completely in half to chew on the water battle while it is in between her legs on the ground! She does this all the time and she can go from this to sitting right back up. Wonder if she will be a dancer or a gymnast.

She is still wearing 3-6 month clothing.

She is still in a size 2 diaper.

I weighed her here on our scale and it said she was around 16 lbs.

She is only nursing about three times a day. Still refuses to take a bottle. We have tried 4 different kinds of bottles but she gets ticked off at just the site of one. She eats baby food 2-3 times a day and can eat 1- 1 1/2 containers of stage 1 at a time. She goes from 0-60 if you don't feed her fast when she thinks she is starving. I will put her in her Bumbo and she will SCREAM while I am getting her food ready and then when you give it to her she stops immediately.

She won't let Devin feed her. She maybe gets halfway through a container of baby food and she'll stop eating.

She doesn't like green foods like beans or peas, but loves the fruits and orange foods like carrots and sweet potatoes.

She is sleeping a little longer at nights. She used to sleep from about 8 -4:30 eat and go back to bed till around 9 now she does not get up till about 6:30 and then goes back to sleep till about 9.
She takes about 2 naps a day that usually last a couple of hours.

She growls a lot. It is the funniest thing ever. We lost our camcorder charger so I tried to record her with my phone. I will try to upload it in a bit.

She loves animals.

She still adores Mathias. She loves watching him, and all kids for that matter, play. It is like she just wants to get in there and play with them.

She is still a major mamas girl and really only wants me to hold her.

She gives me big, wet, open mouthed, slobbery kisses. She will grab my face with both of her hands and "kiss" my check or chin. Love it!

She is becoming more of a snuggler.

We sure do love this little girl and are having a blast watching her grow!
